Benefits of OSC Membership

Citycard Purchases/Renewals

The OSC is currently in discussions regarding a discount on Citycard purchases and renewals, but one cannot be guaranteed at this time. If and when a discount can be offered to OSC members, this section will be updated to indicate that. For more information on the Citycard from MCFC's official website, please click here.

Note: As an OSC member, you are advised to purchase the standard Citycard as opposed to the Citycard International, even if you are an international supporter. The standard card is cheaper than the international card and is acceptable for ticket purchases through the OSC (see below).

Match Tickets

GENERAL INFO: For home games, Seasoncard (season ticket) holders always have priority claim their seats for league or cup matches. They also have first opportunity to purchase tickets to away matches. After Seasoncard holders, home and away tickets are next made available to Citycard holders depending on their number of loyalty points and then to the general public, if still available.

OSC MEMBERS: As an OSC member and also a Citycard holder, however, tickets for home and away matches are made available to you before they are made available to the aforementioned Citycard holders who are not members of the OSC. Thus membership in the OSC provides Citycard holders a greater chance to obtain tickets to matches and a greater chance to obtain the seat of their choice. Tickets are made available to OSC members according to the schedule below. Please note that this schedule is subject to change as matches are added and match dates change.

If you choose to make your ticket purchase through the OSC, please email Donny Schreier your request, and he will discuss the process with you. In general, you will provide him with the name and date of the match you wish to attend, number of tickets you are requesting, your Citycard number and your OSC number. He will then provide your information to the OSC and get back to you with the exact cost. Once you have submitted payment to MCFCNYC (via Paypal or by check), the money will be transferrred to the OSC and your ticket(s) purchased.

Note 1: As a general rule only one ticket per Citycard may be purchased. However, being that most MCFCNYC members are travelling from the United States the club may be flexible with regards to this. Nothing can be promised, but we will inquire about purchasing multiple tickets on one Citycard.

Note 2: If you do not hold a Citycard then there is NO advantage to purchasing your ticket(s) through the OSC. OSC members without Citycards must wait until tickets are made available to the general public, and you should therefore purchase your ticket(s) through Manchester City Football Club directly.

SMART CARD: All fans who are Seasoncard holders or who purchase a Citycard will also be issued with a Smart Card. The Smart Card gains you easier entry to the stadium on match day. For more information about the Smart Card, please click here.

The OSC City Social

The Official Supporters Club reserves its own room at the City Social Cafe, and both before and after a match it offers you the chance to meet members from other branches whilst having a drink and a bite to eat. For entry to the room OSC members must also purchase either an OSC City Social membership or a single-day Matchday Card.

OSC City Social Membership: Apply for membership to the OSC City Social for the 2007/08 season by sending a written request to us. Your request must include a passport-sized photo with your OSC membership number written on the back and a check for the appropriate amount indicated below.

£7.50 ($15.00) for Adults (aged 17-59)

£4.00 ($08.00) for Seniors (aged 60 or over)

£1.00 ($02.00) for Juniors (aged 16 or under)

Matchday Card: If you want to attend the OSC City Social on an occasional basis you may prefer to get a single-day Matchday Card. The cost of a Matchday Card is £1.00 per game ($2US), but note that this cost will be picked up by MCFCNYC for the first two Matchday Cards requested by a member, while each additional card must purchased by the member himself. Matchday Cards purchased by the member must be completed by one of the following methods:

Requests for all Matchday Cards must be made at least one week prior to the match you are attending. Upon approval, collect your Matchday Card at the OSC City Social on matchday at least 1 hour prior to kickoff. The doors of the OSC City Social normally open 2-3 hours before kickoff and are also open for 2-3 hours after the match. Matchday Cards are not transferrable, so please do not give yours to another.

Note: Possession of an OSC City Social Membership Card or Matchday Card does not guarantee you entry to the OSC City Social. The room has a capacity of 300 people, and persons will not be permitted entry once this limit has been reached. In addition, members who leave the room for any reason (e.g., to smoke, meet others, use the shop) are not guaranteed automatic re-entry and will need to re-join the queue if the room is full when they return.

The OSC Presidents' Dinner

This annual event offers OSC members the chance to meet OSC leadership, current MCFC management, former City players, and other guests of the club. It is held in the first half of the season.

Player of the Year Awards

Each year the OSC organizes Manchester City FC's Player of the Year Awards. Held toward the conclusion of the season, this event is usually attended by the entire City playing staff as well as management. It is a very popular event and always a sell-out.

OSC Travel Club

The OSC has its own Travel Club and arranges for Coach travel to away matches. For more information on the Travel Club, please visit the travel page on the OSC's website by clicking here.

Travel Insurance

When on officially organized trips for either home or away matches, the OSC provides members with Personal Injury Insurance through the National Federation of Football Supporters’ Clubs.
